About the LiftMaster Model GH

The LiftMaster Model GH is a gearhead hoist operator with Logic 5.0 for heavy industrial, high-cycle doors. It uses a lubricated gear system (not the same light industrial package as J/H). Side-mounts for vertical or high-lift sectionals; also used on larger/heavier rolling doors and grilles. Duty rating: 25 cycles per hour and greater than 90 cycles per day. Horsepower runs 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/2, 2, and 3 HP — a real step up from the 1 HP ceiling on standard J/H industrial operators.

When to choose gearhead hoist (GH)

Step up to GH when door weight, size, or daily cycles outgrow a standard industrial H. For standard-lift high-cycle sectionals, see GT (gearhead trolley). For mid-range lighter work, medium-duty MH may be enough.
